1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and TrangoLabs Technologies FZ LLE (“ScanSays”, “we”), registered at Twin Towers, Fujairah. By creating an account or using ScanSays, you accept them. Our privacy policy and medical disclaimer also apply.
2. Who can use ScanSays
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract. You may upload reports for other people only with their permission or where you have legal authority to act for them, for example as a parent or guardian.
3. ScanSays is not medical advice
Please read this. ScanSays is a patient-education tool. It explains and illustrates the text of a report written by a medical professional. It does not diagnose, interpret scan images, recommend treatment or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
- Explanations and 3D views may contain errors, especially when a report is handwritten, blurred or incomplete. Always check them against your original report.
- The 3D body is a typical model scaled to your report's measurements. It is not an image of your body.
- Never ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you saw in ScanSays.
- In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at support@scansays.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for activity in your account.
5. Reports you upload
You keep ownership of your reports. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to upload each report.
6. Payments, wallet and refunds
- Prices are shown before you pay and depend on the report type. Prices include any taxes we are required to charge.
- You can pay per scan by card, or buy wallet packs and use them for yourself and people you scan for.
- If we can't read a report at all, we automatically refund that scan to your wallet.
- Wallet balances can only be used for scans and can't be withdrawn as cash, except where the law requires a refund.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights. For billing questions, email billing@scansays.com.
7. Acceptable use
Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, try to access other people's data, reverse-engineer or overload the service, extract our 3D models, or use ScanSays for anything unlawful.
8. Our content
The ScanSays name, logo, software, explanations and 3D visuals belong to us or our licensors. Some anatomical models are used under third-party licences and are credited in the app. You may save and share your own results for personal use.
9. Availability
We work to keep ScanSays available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of ScanSays without consulting a healthcare professional, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. When an account is deleted, its data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll tell you about important changes before they take effect. If you keep using ScanSays after that, the new terms apply.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes go to the courts of Abu Dhabi, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
